What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file your browser stores when you visit a website. It is used, for example, to remember your preferences or to measure traffic.
Cookies on this site
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| coal_consent | Remembers your cookie choice | 6 months | Necessary |
| coal_locale | Remembers the language you picked | 12 months | Necessary |
| _ga | Google Analytics: tells visitors apart with a random identifier | 13 months | Audience measurement (with your consent) |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics: keeps the state of your session | 13 months | Audience measurement (with your consent) |
Necessary cookies are exempt from consent: they only make the site work and respect your choices. Google Analytics cookies are set only once you agree: until you accept, the Google tag runs without cookies and only sends anonymous, aggregated signals (Google’s “Consent Mode v2”).
We use no advertising cookies or pixels (Meta, TikTok…). Google signals and Google Analytics’ advertising features are turned off.
Changing your choice
You can accept or refuse audience measurement, and change your mind at any time: use the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page, or the button at the top of this page.
Your choice is kept for 6 months; after that, we ask you again.
Blocking cookies in your browser
You can also set your browser to delete cookies already stored, block all of them, or block only those of certain sites. Your browser’s help pages (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge…) explain how, usually under the “Privacy” or “Cookies” settings.
If you block all cookies, the site still works, but your language and cookie choice won’t be remembered: the banner will show up again on every visit.
