01The context
On booking platforms, salons pay a subscription, sit right next to their competitors and the platform owns the customer relationship. We wanted a salon to have its own online diary, on its own website, in its own colours.
02What we built
- A simple booking flow: service, stylist or barber, time slot — built for mobile.
- An admin area for bookings, team, services and opening hours.
- A shared TypeScript engine: slot calculation from opening hours, a customer self-service link, iCal export, signed admin sessions.
- Plugs into a salon's website: a fix shipped once reaches every site that uses it.
